  15. Distributions from Mainz:

  17. MZ1:  multicol         contains the multicolumn-option, the doc-option
  18.                        (used by most other packages) and the docstrip program.
  19.  
  20. MZ2:  theorem          contains the theorem enhancements for LaTeX.
  21.                        Needs MZ1 for unpacking and documentation.
  22.  
  23. MZ3:  fontsel          the new fontselection scheme for LaTeX. It will 
  24.                        become part of LaTeX 3.0.
  25.  
  26. MZ4:  verbatim         a new implementation of verbatim with some additional
  27.                        features. 
  28.                        Needs MZ1 for unpacking and documentation.
  29.  
  30. MZ5:  array            Enhanced version of LaTeX's tabular and array 
  31.                        environments.
  32.                        Needs MZ1 for unpacking and documentation.

  34. MZ6:  ftn              contains the footnote-right option for LaTeX.

  39. The distributions mentioned above are distributed as packages each
  40. including a second README file, for example `readme.mz1', that lists
  41. all files included in the package.

  43. Please do not request updates from us.  Distribution is done only
  44. through Mail-Servers and TeX organisations.

  47. Distribution of unchanged versions:

  49.   You are NOT ALLOWED to take money for the distribution or use of
  50.   these files except for a nominal charge for copying etc.

  52.   Redistribution of unchanged files is allowed provided that all files
  53.   listed in the corresponding package README file are distributed
  54.   including this readme file.

  56.   If you receive only some of these files from someone, complain!

  58.   However, if these files are distributed by established suppliers as
  59.   part of a complete TeX distribution, and the structure of the
  60.   distribution would make it difficult to distribute the whole set of

  71.   packages is allowed under the following restrictions:

  73.   - You rename the file before you make any changes to it.

  75.   - You acknowledge the origin of the changed version in the file and
  76.     keep the information that it (or a changed version) has to be
  77.     distributed under the restrictions mentioned in this file.

  79.   - You change the ERROR REPORT address so that we don't get error
  80.     reports for files *not* maintained by us.

  83.   The distribution of changed versions of the files inluded in the
  84.   packages is allowed under the following restrictions:

  86.   - You provide the user with information how to obtain the original
  87.     package or, even better, distribute it with your files.

  100.   Before you report an error please check that

  102.   - the error is not already mentioned in the *.bug file of the

  106.     LaTeX from 1986 is a good candidate ...

  108.   - you use an original version of the package.

  111.   If you think you found a genuine bug please report it together

  116.   - version (date!) of your LaTeX

  118.   - a short test file showing the behavior with all unnecessary
  119.     coding removed. The transcript of the session might also help.
